Can you tell us how AI was used in the creation of this product? What tools were used, how AI was utilized? I want to support amazing indie games, but not AI development or art theft!

There are two levels that have a lot of things. I used llama to create a csv document  with visual descriptions for 4444 thing A and 2222 Thing B and then made a python script that consecutively sent these descriptions to PixelLab to generate images and waited for a 200 response and spammed a server a bit after getting bad server responses. Then I manually inspected all of them and discarded not usable ones. Then I made a Processing script to make them indexcolor instead of RGB and collect them into spritesheet, then I used Laigter to create normal maps for them, then i have writen a shader that moved them a bit and used normal maps for lighting and made a script that distributes them and a pooling system so all the normal mapped jiggly textures don't fry my and players laptops when playing the level. The same levels also include "human made" tile-maps and backgrounds and "human made" music. Also there is a speech system that used sounds generated by 15.ai talking in tokipona speech, cut and then pitch shifted in Audacity and cleaned harmonics in Sinusoidal Partial Editing and Analysys  software.

Do you think there will be an Itch port for this game? Steam hates it when I try to download games

Yeah, sure.  Maybe not today, but sometime this week.

I heard that one of the voice clips in the steam trailer sounds like it was AI generated, Will the game be purely made by humans? This clip concerned me a tiny bit and thought to ask you that https://imgur.com/N3kgwCt

It's an experimental game and it's not purely made by humans. I used whatever tool that seemed fun and effective for the idea, including various tools  that carry AI branding.

Ah. I see, Welp good luck on developing on that game! it stings a little with my stance with AI in products but I do understand it is experimental and will look past that. Do love the visuals though

By the way how old is the flower women? Sorry if I ask but I'm just curious about her.

Cool! Glad you liked it! Flowies are composite creatures, so age is foregn concept to them, but fairy of Andy had undergone division three flowies ago.

how do i fix the shattered hud creature after recovering from the cat virus infection?

In the span of the demo there is no way to return it. But in the full game - you would meet again.

yay

oh hell yes. I cannot WAIT till full game is released. I love when media attacks my senses and juices my brain a bit.

This game seems like a pretty accurate description of what it's like to be born. If you don't understand what I mean by that, then honestly don't worry, a better descriptor is that it accurately simulates having a stroke. Everything about this game from it's visuals to the very page you have to go to, to play it, is majorly disorientating and it feels like a direct recreation of my most earliest moments in my childhood. I appreciate the text in the top corner attempting to communicate with you but it keeps cutting itself off or stuttering and in general, lots of things in this game just don't look like they make sense. It feels like a game for babies because only they would understand just how fucking weird this game is.

Came for Lilith Zone, stayed for the rest. The zone with the power generator was strangely creepy.

Cool! Thank you!

Added to my steam wish list! It's 100% goes to my weirdcore/dream collection of the games, so i could explore the most unique and colorful worlds and try to understand surrialistic designs and learn how to draw in such style, will give a try to this game on upcoming weekend, and will share with it to my friends

Thank you very much! Sorry for the late response... Glad you find it inspirational!

Wow, that was a really great piece of work.
It was unbelievable that it was a demo version, with so many dimensions, so much art, and so many different views of the world!
I especially like the winter dimension, the sauna dimension, and the dimension with all the different characters marching around.
It was a great gaming experience, meow~!

Thank you for your kind words and a video! Your feedback means very much to me and motivates me to keep improving the game! I'm really glad you had fun with it! 🐾✨

super cute demo! excited to see the full thing someday

Thank you!

I love this!!!

Cool! Thank you! :)

I'm vibing with this. This is so spot on with the random point and click stuff I played in the 90s.

I can't wait for more!

I don't mind the voice of the hud creature, but maybe the repetitive nature could be tuned a little, so every interaction doesn't start with the same sound. Of course, I wasn't thinking about this much when I got further into the game... I won't say much more than that.

These friends remind me of an old plastic jelly mold my dad has had since forever, maybe older than me.

(+2)

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!  What type of jelly did you make in them?

(-1)

Orange type

(+5)(-1)

This game emulates the surrealness of 90's point-and-clicks.

Where the UI is part of the experience as much as the world and characters.

(+3)

Thanks!  I like bulky UI.  Those PC-98 games look so cool.

seconding the request for (more obvious?) voice volume controls. when vinny vinesauce streamed this (here's the vod for reference), the voice drowned out the music completely. it's a shame since what little I could hear of the music sounded neat.

(+2)

Thank you for informing! I would add the way to control the voice in the next update.

(1 edit) (+2)(-1)

definitely add an option to turn off the voice but i would also recommend working on making it less repetitive so it doesn't sound the same every time? look up how animal crossing or celeste does it or something like that. a volume control instead of just on/off would also be nice. really love everything else, this game looks so cool

(+3)(-1)

any chance we can get a downlaod of the ost

also vinny vinesauce says he wants a way to turn off the voice

(+2)

Yeah, I would add an ost to the game when it comes out. If you want a specific song, i might just leave a link here.  I have a button on the interface that does nothing, I guess it's the one to control the voice in the next update.
